The Weightless Mass team goes to the Astro-Pi competition


astro_pi_inside_its_flight_case_node_full_image_2The ESA (European Space Agency) organizes the competition The European Astro Pi challenge: Code your ISS Experiment.

It is a competition where students of age up to 16 years old, propose an experiment that will be conducted on the ISS (International Space Station) with the utilization of a special edition of the Raspberry Pi, which is called Astro Pi

The team of our school Weightless Mass consisting of 10 students (boys and girls) of the Third Class, has sent its proposal and has been promoted to the second phase. This phase will be completed until February 28th, 2017.

In a few days we will receive from ESA a unit of Astro Pi and the students will start implementing their proposed experiment.
